About Babs!

Hi, I’m Barbara — but around here, I go by Babs.

Butter by Babs was born during a quiet season of reflection after raising three beautiful kids and living with a back injury that’s kept me on disability for over 20 years. For a long time, I found myself wondering what my next chapter would look like. I prayed and asked God, “What now?” And one morning, as clear as day, I woke up with the idea: make butter.

So I did.

It started in my kitchen — just me, some fresh cream, and a little bit of faith. I let my family try the first batch, and the look on their faces said it all: it was something special. From that moment on, I knew I had to share it.

Cooking has always been my love language. I’ve been feeding big family meals to crowds of 20+ since I was young, because gathering people around the table has always brought me joy. Butter by Babs is just an extension of that same love: a way to add something rich, homemade, and heartfelt to your meals.

Today, I offer 16+ flavors (and counting), made with only fresh ingredients and zero preservatives or dyes. Whether it’s a sweet seasonal blend or a savory classic, each butter is crafted to bring out the best in your cooking — and maybe even spark a little joy in your kitchen, too.

At the heart of Butter by Babs is faith, family, and flavor. I believe everything happens for a reason, and this little business of mine is proof that God’s timing is always right. Thank you for being here — I hope you taste the love in every bite.

With warmth and butter,

Babs
